It’s the little things that can add up to large problems,
Emotionally attached owners who treat their dog as an equale or loved one are creating situations
If leadership has not been established then now is the time to let the dog know who is the true leader. The owner has some options, take formal dog training, learn how to be the leader, set rules for the dog and family members. Put the leash on in the house where the owner goes the dog goes, use a crate if one is available or have and area where the dog can be contained. A dog that is able to freely roam around the in side or out side of the house is a dog that is taking over the territory. Leash the dog in the car, this will keep the dog in one place, it will not let the dog roam around the vehicle and it is a safety measure in case of sudden stops or an accident. No heads hanging out the window.

Here are 5 major advantages to using a crate!
Protection from human visitors

Use Dog Crates for House Training

Use Dog Crates to get some time-out from your Pup

Dog Crates provide piece of mind.

Dog Crates and Kennels - Introducing your dog-to-dog crates can make it easier for dogs to adjust to kennels.

The leash gives the dog owner a physical connection to the dog and also aids in control.
